I thought jbridge only works to make 32 bit plug-ins run and 64-bit, not the other way around It can’t possibly take that much programming. I’ve been installing and uninstalling different combinations for weeks now, but all this could be avoided if native instruments would just offer an optional 32 bit plug-in for machine.Īs stated above, they offer it on the free software‘s so why not bring this back for the dedicated users who pay money. Now I want to remove those instruments from the library in machine, but I don’t want to fully uninstall them since they still work good As separate plug-ins outside of machine. The version 2.7, which works great for the most part is stuck with the Kontakt and Reaktor instruments in my browser and when I try to load them it will not load because of compatibility issues. However this creates another problem for me. It seems that I will be stuck using version 2.7, which would be fine. This has led to a lot of trial and error. I had to do a lot of research to figure out my paid-for NI software won’t do things that free NI software will.

I feel like I really got burned on my purchase of the software.
Kontakt 4 32 or 64 bit for free#
I was very surprised to see the latest updates for free NI software will show up In my ProTools plug-in list, but machine will not. I paid a lot of money for ProTools and it works good with everything, except machine.
Kontakt 4 32 or 64 bit update#
I use ProTools 10, because I can’t afford to update everything to 64 bit. Why in the world is the FREE Kontakt player and the Reaktor player still supported for 32 bit plug-in mode, but my machine software I PAID for is not?! I am very frustrated that machine discontinued the 32 bit plug-in support!!įrom one standpoint it makes sense, but this is what I don’t get.
